A large trekking campsite spread across the rugged alpine terrain of Kuari Pass in Uttarakhand. Rows of colorful tents in red, blue, yellow, and green are pitched across the rocky mountainside, forming a temporary high-altitude basecamp for trekkers exploring one of the most scenic Himalayan trails in India. Located at an elevation of around 12,500 feet, the Kuari Pass trek—also known as the historic Lord Curzon Trail—passes through forests, meadows, ridgelines, and remote mountain landscapes in the Garhwal Himalayas. Sparse vegetation, dry alpine grass, and small glacial streams flowing through the campsite reflect the harsh but spectacular Himalayan environment.
