Description
Google just announced its answer to Claude Cowork and Codex, and the most interesting part is who it's really for.
Three things stood out from Day 1 of #googleio
1. #gemini Spark plugs straight into your Gmail, Drive, and Calendar, so it starts with all your context already loaded.
2. Gemini Spark also works right out the box, where Codex and Claude Cowork need real setup first, so it's clearly built for everyday users, not power users like me.
3. Google also launched #GeminiOmni. Today it's a model for creating, remixing, and editing video. My prediction: it's the first step toward AI generating the exact screen you need instead of you opening a fixed app.
Thank you to @Google for inviting me to I/O this year.
