Arne Slot WHAT is the PLAN?!

What’s so concerning is how we’re seeing the same issues time and time again with no real changes in the way we setup… Like how we brought in a star striker in Alexander Isak with ZERO game plan on how to create chances for him or get him involved in the play. That’s not on Alex. He had a total of FOURTEEN touches in 86 minutes because he was just left completely isolated up top, with only TWO touches in the box and another game with ZERO shots on target. If we brought in two top class strikers in Isak and Ekitike this summer it’s crazy to see we’re not setting up in any kind of way to utilise their strengths… And he’s only one example. Last night in the 2nd half Slot decided to shift Wirtz far out wide on the left wing where he was totally isolated. Same with Salah on the right. His only option was either to pass back to Gomez or cross it into the box where there was just Isak and 4 tall Sunderland defenders… 😢
