A silver bullet for chronic wounds?

Chronic wounds are a painful reality for millions of people worldwide, complicated by antimicrobial resistance that renders many antibiotics ineffective. UniSA researcher Dr Anna Antipov is looking at alternative treatment options, including a silver nanoparticle hydrogel, to help fight infections. Anna recently presented her research to FameLab, the largest public science-facing communication competition in the world.
