Manitoba activates provincewide disaster aid after devastating flooding

Premier Wab Kinew says Manitoba is activating a provincewide Disaster Financial Assistance program after widespread flooding that has impacted communities from the Swan Valley to the Winnipeg region. Speaking in Stonewall, where more than 255 millimetres of rain fell in the area, Kinew said the province is treating the flooding as a single provincewide event to ensure resources are available for affected Manitobans.
