The International Concours of Elegance, known as The I.C.E. St. Moritz, concluded its 2026 edition last weekend on the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz. Held on January 30 and 31, the event gathered 50 of the world’s most prestigious classic and racing cars to compete in a unique winter setting. The top honor, Best in Show, was awarded to a 1937 Talbot-Lago T150C SS Teardrop, a masterpiece of French automotive design. Other notable class winners included a 1993 Jaguar XJ220 in the Birth of the Hypercar category and a 1949 Maserati 4CLT, which topped the Open Wheels class. A 1965 Pontiac Vivant captured the inaugural Best Sound Award, while the public chose a 1996 McLaren F1 GTR as the Hero Below Zero. Beyond the static displays, Saturday featured dynamic sessions where vintage machines performed controlled slides across the ice. The weekend was capped off by a flyover from the Patrouille Suisse, adding an aerial spectacle to the high-altitude gathering of collectors and enthusiasts. #hypercars #mclarenf1 #showcar
