From there, it's a 100-mile drive to Herkimer, home of the famous Herkimer Diamond Mine. We check into the Herkimer KOA and then head out on the ebike to explore what this area has to offer. At the mine site, we walk the grounds and learn about these unique double-terminated quartz crystals that have made this area famous. The real gem of this trip is discovering Middleville's historic downtown and the absolutely beautiful scenic views along Canada West Creek.
