The 20-year-old, who is half-Filipina and half-British, secured her place in the international competition after winning the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2025 title and hails from Leyte. A professional runway model, Vanhefflin formally began her international pageant journey upon receiving her sash on January 17, 2026, and is considered one of the early favorites. She hopes to become the third Filipina to win the crown, following previous victories by Karen Gallman in 2018 and Cinderella Obeñita in 2021.
