R.I.P. “Old Guy”

It’s been a really sad day here at Haus Plans. We lost a special friend yesterday- you guys know him as the “Old Guy”. He was actually only in about 4 or 5 videos, but I was always blown away with how many people loved him and asked about him. So, I thought I might take a minute and talk about all the things he loved. He loved people, especially kids. He always enjoyed going for rides in my truck and coming to the jobsite. He was the happiest when he was outdoors with the wind in his face. We decided to bury him at this place where we used to bring him with our family. He was with us for over 17 years. Looking back through old photos with my wife and kids- it was just amazing how he was a part of everything we did. Birthdays, Christmases, Trips- he was almost always there. And this might sound crazy, but I think he had a way of sensing if someone was down or hurting. He would always come sit with them.
