Part 4 - Clean Up Dead Material, Thread Leaf False Cypress, March 2026

My Thread Leaf False Cypress in the corner is 25+ years old. I do an annual maintenance to: 1. Keep its shape, preferable a mushroom shape 2. Keep its size proportion to, but not crowding other plants around 3. Minimize dying center 4. Clean up Item I and 2 are straight forward. Item 3 takes thinning branches, in addition to item 2. This is item 4 - clean up dead material Annual maintenance 2025 - https://youtu.be/2BgPD9hXIIk 隅にある私のイトスギは樹齢25年以上です。毎年以下のメンテナンスを行っています。 1. 樹形を維持する（できればキノコ型に）。 2. 周囲の植物とのバランスを保ちつつ、窮屈にならないように大きさを調整する。 3. 中心部の枯れを最小限に抑える。 4. 剪定する。 1と2は簡単です。3は2に加えて枝の剪定です。 これが4番目の項目、枯れた部分の剪定です。
