Thomas AEG Ashima Motorised & Metal AEG Fixing Gordon's Old Gold Mine 1000% ✅

That 80th Anniversary Thomas & Friends gear is still impossible to find so I go down a detail and scale bunny hole via Ashima the Indian tank engine and the Metal Collection playset Gordon In The Old Mines. Ashima is in the scheme of things a new character, introduced when the Thomas franchise developed what I term Sodor Island drift. This was a strange time for the Thomas & Friends storyline merchandise and collectables. Many new characters appeared, the long established 'steam team' was softened and the magic of Sodor Island was becoming a distant memory. Not long after this story arc the franchise degenerated into the 2D animation All Engines Go. Maybe a lesson here is to stick to staying on Sodor Island or risk crashing the entire franchise. In the video I look at All Engines Go Ashima Motorised & Metal Collection. The small piece of rolling stock in the Metal Collection Ashima to me is the Thomas & Friends Gold that will assist me in making Gordon look good in the playset Gordon In The Old Mines. When looking at Ashima it had me looking at the few other versions I have of her. We have a small dig into the incredible world of Thomas Adventures, a really interesting and very short lived Thomas & Friends collectable. Thomas Adventures was the last playsets where the scale of the trains was set up correctly with the smaller push along style toys. Once all the toys conformed to TrackMaster track the scaling issues started to appear.
