Wild Minutes | Roadside Bear | Lake Louise, Canada

The summer of 2025 saw unusually high bear activity in the Canadian Rockies due to a bumper crop of raspberries. We were driving the Bow Valley Parkway from Lake Louise back to Canmore when we spotted this brown bear eating berries on the side of the road. It was around 10am and there was little traffic, so we put on our hazards and pulled off on the side of the road. It looks close, but this is about 10x zoom on my iphone (which you can tell from the quality). We watched for a few minutes and then continued on our way. 📍 Location: Lake Louise, Canada
