Description
YouTube Description: DIY Cheap Remote Control for 775 Motor | Homemade ESC Using Servo & L298
Friends, I’m back with a brand new video featuring a unique and budget-friendly project! If you’ve ever wanted to control a powerful 775 motor with a remote but found ESCs (Electronic Speed Controllers) too expensive, this is the solution for you.
Project Overview:
Usually, connecting a 775 motor to a remote controller requires a good quality ESC, which can cost between 1,500–2,000 Rupees. In this video, I’ll show you how I built my own homemade ESC for just 200 Rupees! It’s simple, effective, and works perfectly with both 555 and 775 motors.
How I Made It:
Servo Motor Board Hack:
I opened up a servo motor and carefully removed the internal board.
Disconnected the built-in motor and soldered two wires to the motor connector to use as output.
Connecting to L298 Motor Driver:
I connected the output from the servo board to an L298 motor driver module.
This setup allows the remote controller to send signals to the L298, which then drives the powerful 775 motor.
Remote Control Success:
After assembling everything, I connected it to a remote control and powered up the system.
The result: I was able to run both 555 and 775 motors smoothly and efficiently using the remote!
Why This Project is Awesome:
Save money—homemade ESC for a fraction of the cost
Works with high-power motors like the 775
Simple components and easy step-by-step build
Ideal for future projects like remote control cars or robots
