Eat a 104oz 30-Inch Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich to Break Carnival Cafe’s Challenge Record!!

American pro eater Randy Santel vs Carnival Cafe's 30-Inch Long Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Record Challenge in Rogersville, Tennessee!! After finishing up the eating challenge tour with @KatinaEatsKilos around Arkansas, parts of Missouri, and Oklahoma, I took a 6.5 week break from food challenges and lost 49.8 lbs (22.6 kg) of bodyweight. I started back up with a trip to Eastern Tennessee with my Czech friend @SteelRodRadim Dvořáček and attempted four huge and delicious restaurant eating challenges. For food challenge #3 of four, we headed to Carnival Cafe in Rogersville, Tennessee so I could attempt to break their 30-Inch Long Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Record Challenge!! Carnival Cafe hosts two different food challenges - a burger record challenge and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich record challenge - both with similar rules and prizes. I hadn't tried a cheesesteak challenge in years, since 2021, so I wanted to try that one. A few years ago, my British competitive eating friend @Beardmeatsfood ate a 5.5lb 30" cheesesteak to beat the previous 5lb record, and then my Kentucky friend @EliLessig ate a 6lb 30" Philly sandwich to set a new record. To win the cheesesteak challenge, I had one hour to eat a 30" long Philly cheesesteak sandwich made with three 10" Italian bread loaf buns, seventeen (17) quarter-pound things of sirloin beef (4.25lbs total), 31 slices of white American cheese, and lots of healthy grilled green peppers and onions. The sandwich is served with fries, but those are not required as part of the challenge. Just for fun, I ordered their hand-cut fries, waffle fries, and just two hand-dipped fried onion rings. The entire sandwich weighed 6.5lbs / 104oz / 3kg total, and I was trying to finish it all within one hour to win my $65 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a $50 Carnival Cafe gift card to come back and use later, and the #1 spot on the Wall of Fame for the Philly Cheesesteak Challenge!!
