Description
So look, I wrote this song because I was really trying to understand something and bridge what feels like a real disconnect between men and women.
If it’s so obvious that men and women need each other, why does it feel like there’s such a deep gap between us?
When I really sat with it, I couldn’t ignore how much modern Western culture seems to benefit from separation.
More division.
More isolation.
More “you don’t need anyone.”
It feels like independence, something that once meant capability, has slowly turned into disconnection.
And somewhere in that shift, the idea of the nuclear family, partnership, and mutual reliance started to feel outdated or even threatening.
What I see now is this…
A lot of women feel pressured to prove they don’t need men, like they have to outwork, outperform, and outlast them.
And a lot of men feel hurt, discarded, or resentful, and respond by punishing women emotionally or mirroring the same detachment they complain about.
And if we’re being honest, neither side is really winning.
This song isn’t here to assign blame.
It’s just a reminder.
I wrote it to get past the blame game through the lyrics and show what a repairing conversation could actually sound like.
So before you respond, I ask that you really listen to the lyrics.
Not just the tone.
Not just the beat.
Not just the singers.
Not just one line.
But the full thought.
After you listen, I’m genuinely curious.
What part of the song did you reson
ate with and why?
Do you feel this divide in your own life, or am I off?
Do you think we’re being pushed toward separation or choosing it ourselves?
And do you think this gender war can actually be fixed through real conversation?
There’s no agenda here.
There are no sides to pick.
Just an honest attempt to understand why, in a world where connection matters more than ever, it feels like we’re being conditioned to learn how to live without each other.
So listen first.
Then respond from what you actually heard.
This probably won’t get a ton of responses, but the people who do respond, I’ll respond back when I see it.
And if this made you think, feel free to share it, especially with someone you’d actually want to have this conversation with.
Let’s talk. #newmusic #genderwars #unity #weneedeachother
