Phillies Plan $205M Renovation for BayCare Ballpark | TFC Stadiums

The Philadelphia Phillies are moving closer to a major redevelopment of their spring training home in Clearwater, Florida. A new funding agreement would help support a $205 million renovation of BayCare Ballpark and the surrounding Phillies training campus. Pinellas County has approved an $85 million tourist tax contribution, with additional funding expected from Clearwater and the State of Florida. The project would upgrade fan areas, seating, concourses, concessions, suites, restrooms, field lighting, and player development spaces at the Carpenter Complex. It would also help keep the Phillies in Clearwater through 2047, bringing one of baseball’s longest spring training partnerships close to the 100-year mark.
