It all started when he traded an ice cream freezer for his first Econoline van and began with weekend van life out of a work van. He got married at one point and tried sticks and bricks living, but it simply did not work for him, so he returned to the road and never looked back. Troy currently lives in an Econoline 350, choosing the bigger rig so he can tow. He lives with muscular dystrophy and he has found that life on the road allows him to manage his condition in ways that work for him.
