What If God Called You By Name?

🙋‍♂️ G’day 🌅 Known & Lifted — The God Who Calls Us by Name and Carries Us on Wings ✅️ 1: STRENGTH THAT COMES FROM WAITING ON GOD 📖 Isaiah 40:31 NIV “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ➡️ Waiting on the Lord doesn’t weaken us — it renews us and lifts us above exhaustion. “Eagle’s Wings” captures this prophetic promise beautifully. The song reminds us that spiritual strength is not found in pushing harder, but in hoping, trusting, and resting in God. When we choose His timing over ours, He supplies the strength we lack. ✅️ 2: ABIDING — LIFE FLOWS FROM REMAINING IN CHRIST 📖 John 15:4–5 “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. ‘I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.’” ➡️ Fruitfulness flows from closeness, not effort — life comes from abiding in Christ. The language of “abide in Me” in Eagle’s Wings echoes Jesus’ invitation to live connected to Him. This is the posture of worship — surrendering control and allowing His life to flow through us. ✅️ 3: A GOD WHO KNOWS US BY NAME 📖 John 10:3 “The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” ➡️ God’s relationship with us is personal — He knows us individually and leads us lovingly. “He Knows My Name” anchors us in this truth: we are not part of a crowd to God. We are personally known, personally led, and personally loved. ✅️ 4: BELONGING — CALLED AND CLAIMED BY GOD 📖 Isaiah 43:1 “But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.’” ➡️ God removes fear by reminding us that we belong to Him. This Scripture lies at the heart of He Knows My Name. Our confidence doesn’t come from what we do, but from who claims us. ✅️ 5: FULLY KNOWN — NOTHING HIDDEN FROM GOD 📖 Psalm 139:1–4 “You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all of my ways" 🔥 Beloved Today, choose to rest where God invites you to rise. Stop striving for identity, approval, or strength apart from Him. Abide in Christ daily — through Scripture, prayer, and worship — and let the truth settle deep: You are known, you are loved, and you are carried. Speak it over your life this week. Live from it, not toward it. 🙏 Father You are the God who lifts the weary and calls us by name. Teach us to wait on You without fear, to abide in You without striving, and to trust You without hesitation. Where we feel tired, renew our strength. Where we feel forgotten, remind us who we are. Carry us on wings of grace, anchor us in Your love, and lead us forward as sons and daughters who know they belong.
