Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has announced major changes in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2026. This time, Negative Marking will be implemented in the exam, making the competition tougher for lakhs of aspirants. Graduation Level CET will be conducted in November 2026, while Senior Secondary Level CET is scheduled for December 2026. Through this single CET exam, recruitment opportunities for more than 20 major government posts including Patwari, VDO, Junior Accountant, LDC, Platoon Commander, and Police Constable will open. The validity of the CET certificate has also been extended from 1 year to 3 years, giving huge relief to candidates. According to Board Chairman Alok Raj, the difficulty level of CET 2026 will be higher than previous years, and Negative Marking has been introduced to improve the selection process. Candidates will need at least 40% marks to qualify, while reserved category candidates will get a 5% relaxation.
