We FINALLY Got the First Shelter on the New Ranch! Our Horses And Mules LOVE IT!

We finally got one of our shelters delivered and set up, which means we are getting closer to being able to move the herd out here full time. There are still a few pieces we are waiting on, including the rest of the shelters, but as soon as those are dropped off we can really start working toward living out here with all of the horses and mules. This lease property has already become such a peaceful place for us. We love our home, but there is something different about being out here surrounded by wide open spaces, high mountain peaks, and nature in its rawest form. Every project we finish makes it feel a little more real, and seeing the first shelter in place was one of those moments where we could finally picture the next chapter coming together. Of course, there is still plenty of work ahead. We have pens to finish, animals to move, chores to keep up with, and a lot of long days in front of us. But we are so thankful for the opportunity to build something here and for all of you following along as we take it one step at a time. Thanks for spending part of your day with us.
