Centre Stage programme – Women’s empowerment through tourism in Dominican Republic

Centre Stage aims to put a focus on women’s empowerment and gender equality within the tourism sector, including the involvement of public institutions and businesses, with the active support of civil society. This UN Tourism programme was implemented in the Dominican Republic in 2022 by different tourism businesses that committed to improving the professional situation of women in tourism, leading efforts towards gender equality in the sector.
