Apprenticeship programs are an essential way to bring people into the skilled trades. Here’s a great story from Ford team member, Darriean Diaz at Kansas City Assembly Plant. After high school, she joined the plant’s apprenticeship program, finished 4 years of training and is now a full-time electrician. She’s even inspired her husband and brother to join the program.
