What Happens to Children With Disabilities During Conflict #unicef #lebanon

When her family was displaced by war in Lebanon, 13-year-old Lynn brought her cat along to the temporary shelter in Beirut. She attends online classes two to three hours a day, but she misses the comforts of home and the daily routine she left behind. She'd rather be attending school than living in one. In times of crisis, children and persons with disabilities face greater risks. UNICEF and partners in Lebanon are providing monthly cash payments to families of children with disabilities. Strengthening the systems they rely on is essential to ensure that vulnerable families can receive timely and reliable support when they need it most.
