Injured Puppy Found on Road Undergoes Leg Amputation Surgery

A helpless puppy was found lying near a college road, unable to walk and suffering in pain. Someone immediately informed RRSA India, and their rescue team rushed to the spot. Upon examination, the team discovered that one of the puppy’s back legs was severely injured. Although the wound looked small, the bone was visible, and the puppy was in extreme pain. He was safely rescued and brought to the RRSA shelter for medical care. An X-ray revealed a serious fracture in the left back leg. Unfortunately, saving the leg was not possible, and the veterinary team made the difficult decision to amputate the injured leg to save his life. The surgery was successful, and with proper rest, food, and care, the puppy showed incredible recovery. He learned to walk and run on three legs and proved that disability is not the end of life. The RRSA team named this brave puppy Tuffy.
