FLARE Moustache² 18 vs FLARE Bandit 19 I recently caught up with a mate Jake from the US. He was on a work trip filming a documentary in Byron Bay. He was working with P at Skydive Fraser in Rainbow Beach when P and I first met. We spent a lot of time together in Rainbow, cruising up and down the beach, we had some epic time. While he was there I taught him how to ridge soar on my Firefly 16m, and he picked it up quick. 12 months later he came to Norway and worked a summer skydiving season with P and I, and that was when we really got to know each other. We had a ball that summer, hanging out and jumping together. He took my firefly to Loen and did some speedflying, I think he might have even taken it back to Utah when he left. Anyway, we hadn't seen him for 6 years or so, and had an opportunity to catchup last month. Its so good picking up a good friendship after a long break, it feels just the same as it did back then, I love that. Anyway, this was Jakes second session on a Moustache, and the second in 2.5 years! I was really impressed how quick he picked it up. Stoked to catchup Jake!
