In this episode I am riding from the Kalash valley to Peshawar, Pakistan. In this part of Pakistan, because of the close proximity of the Afghanistan border, it is mandatory to travel with a police escort. The anti-terrorism units are very experienced with escorts and they are fast and efficient but the closer I get to Peshawar, the shorter the escorts are and the more I start worrying about arriving in the dark..
