How Photographers Make Friends (NYC Edition)

I can’t believe this happened 😅 This moment kinda blew my mind lol I won’t spoil the twist for those who like to jump to the description to read it first (raise your hand if that’s you lol) But let’s just say that this moment really made my day. 🥹 I spotted Khamsing taking a photo of the famous Radio City Music Hall in NYC. So I asked what camera he was using (ps. This is a great conversation starter for any photographer lol) He was rocking a Fuji, and I was rocking my Sony RX1R III 📸 As a photographer, I know how difficult it is to get good shots of yourself. So whenever I see a photographer in the wild, I usually offer to snap their photo. ESPECIALLY if they’re somewhere iconic like this. Khamsing, meeting you was one of the highlights of my trip! === 🎨 CREATIVE NOTES You’ve probably noticed that I started publishing more dog interactions than human ones. There’s a couple reasons for this… First, I am REALLY enjoying this evolution where I learn more about the dogs, better understand their breeds & characteristics, and really explore the bond that we as humans have with these animals. The second is because I’m going to take on more animal advocacy & adoption work in 2026, which will inevitably mean I’ll be sharing even more dog content next year. Yes, I do feel the pressure from people who want to see more, well… people on this page. And I completely understand! Especially since that’s how this project started. But I see a clear way how we can use this platform for good, and help make a difference for dogs in need.
