Update on Gigi and Midge! [STORY BELOW]

Both these girls were rescued from the large hoarding case in Houston. They were finally able to receive the medical care they had been waiting so long for. Both girls underwent successful spay surgeries, and we were especially relieved to learn that nearly 12-year-old Gigi was not pregnant, despite our initial concerns. Midge also received a much-needed dental procedure, during which several painful teeth were removed. While both girls had a rough first couple of days after surgery, we're so happy to report that they are now doing wonderfully and continuing to recover beautifully. Seeing these two finally receive the care they deserved after everything they've endured has been incredibly rewarding. They still have healing ahead of them, but they're already so much more comfortable than they were before surgery. Because of your compassion, these sweet girls received the surgeries and veterinary care they desperately needed.
