“Power”, Diana Muzyk skates her 2025 Junior Solo Free Dance to Elliott Wheeler

“The inspiration behind this program came after finding this music on Instagram back in 2021. We were looking for something very different and out of my comfort zone, which we found exactly in this music. In the past, I had done a lot of Broadway and romantic/pretty pieces, which I could comfortably portray — but this music was fierce, powerful, and dramatic, which pushed me to explore a different genre of movement and expression. With the overall look, we wanted the program to speak for itself, so we decided to reuse a dress from two seasons ago — specifically without any gems — and have dramatic but elegant hair and makeup. In the end, we couldn’t quite describe the whole body of the program, but we wanted it to make a statement, and I am incredibly proud of how this program evolved throughout the season!” – Diana  Diana Muzyk represents Ann Arbor Figure Skating Club (USA) and is coached by Yaroslava Nechaeva and Dean Copely (TSDA).
