Why We Follow Christ Through Paul The Revelation of the Mystery (KJB) Many sincere believers today say, “We just follow the red letters of Jesus in the Gospels.” But when we read the actual words of Jesus in the King James Bible, we discover something very important. During His earthly ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ clearly said He was sent to Israel — not to the Gentiles. 1. Jesus’ Earthly Ministry Was Sent to Israel Matthew 10:5–6 King James Bible These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus Himself restricted the mission. The apostles were forbidden to go to the Gentiles. The Conclusion We absolutely believe every word Jesus spoke in the Gospels. But to understand what Christ is doing today, we must listen to the apostle He sent to us. That apostle is Paul. And therefore we preach: Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.
