Description

► Two men are in custody after a reported road rage incident led to a pedestrian being injured and their vehicles smashing into the side of a building. The drivers, Robert Walker, 43, and Anthony Hayes, 56, are both accused of vehicular assault and reckless endangerment after the incident in Brooklyn on Tuesday around 11.07pm. Mr Hayes is also accused of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. Investigators said the incident happened when a BMW, driven by Mr Walker, and the Cadillac Escalade, driven by Mr Hayes, collided on Fulton Street, before both vehicles lost control, striking the pedestrian on the sidewalk, then the building. Video from the scenes shows the BMW inside the building, while the Escalade came to a stop on the pavement. Officials ordered a partial vacate order for the building and an engineer to check its structural stability. Both drivers and the pedestrian were taken to hospital and, according to reports, all are expected to survive. It is not yet clear what led to the road rage incident. ►Have you subscribed to 5 News?: http://bit.ly/5NewsSub ► Follow 5 News on Twitter to keep up to date with the latest news - https://twitter.com/5_News Message us on Facebook to share your opinion - https://www.facebook.com/c5News See our latest pictures and videos on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/c5news/ ► About 5 News: We bring you the stories that matter to you, from around the world and across the UK. 🎥 We post daily playlists with the biggest news of the day, interviews, special reports and investigations. 📺 Catch us on TV on Channel 5 every weekday 5-6pm 📱 Get in touch with us on WhatsApp at +44 7555 500 501 🎧 Listen to "How Did We Get Here?
