Should Cat Build A Pickup Truck?

So, here’s the big question. Should CAT consider manufacturing a pick-up truck? This is not a sponsored video; it’s just my thoughts and opinion. CAT built this truck off a Ford Super Duty platform and brought it to CONEXPO to showcase their technology. Basically, it’s a mobile command center. It was a crowd favorite, and I think they did a great job with it, but back to that question. Should Cat build their own pick-up truck, and would it sell? I think it would if they did it right…. give us the things we need and none of the things we don’t. I want a basic turbo diesel engine, no battery, around 400 horsepower, and I want a big fuel tank- at least 50 gallons. I don’t need a sunroof, but I do want locking differentials both front and back. I want a large cab that’s durable with lots of storage- my truck is my office. Technology is great; but it should be helpful, not overbearing, I want adaptive cruise control, but I don’t want my truck asking me when the last time my trailer was serviced, and leave out the buzzers and beepers.
