okay so I had to replay this one a few times. At first it just looked like another muddy drilling setup, then they pulled the casing and that perfectly formed concrete core started showing up. The part that got me was the water running off the sides while the cylinder slowly surfaced. You can tell everybody was being careful not to chip the edges. I've seen plenty of site work online, but seeing the finished core come out in one piece always feels satisfying. It's one of those things most people never get to see once the foundation is buried underground. Anyone here work with pile testing or concrete core samples, how often do they come out this clean? #ConstructionLife #ConcreteWork #FoundationEngineering #SkilledTrades
