Description

I Tried My Grandma’s Yardlong Bean Growing Method – Amazing Results! I grow yardlong beans using my grandmother’s method—a very simple approach with surprisingly effective results. Just reuse a 5-liter or 10-liter plastic bottle, cut it in half, and make drainage holes about 7–9 cm above the bottom. Spread a layer of 2×3 cm stones at the base, high enough to sit above the drainage holes, then add potting soil on top. This stone layer keeps the container well-aerated and stores water in the gaps between the stones, allowing the roots to absorb moisture as needed. Thanks to this, you don’t need to water often—once every 3–4 days is enough. When the beans start branching, be sure to set up a trellis so the vines can climb, grow strong, and produce more pods. I only use homemade organic fertilizer, applied the traditional way my grandmother taught me, at the right time and in the right amount. The plants grow quickly, flower abundantly, and set pods continuously. With this rustic but effective method, the yardlong beans produce far more than expected, and you can easily apply it to grow them at home too. 🌳 This is how I mix the soil to grow vegetables at home https://youtu.be/0802EJmksIY Hope useful for you. 🌳 Thank you for watching! 🌳 Don't forget to Subscribe my channel ❤️ https://bit.ly/3Gnc9Zt
