Elsewhere Vaandu informs Local Loganatha about Quarter Govindan's state in the hospital and advices to abscond the town for a few days and hence they pack to leave. While in the hospital, the doctor gives Arpudham a detailed explanation about the coma that Quarter Govindan is diagnosed with and when Arpudham is helpless on his friend's bill payment, the doctor gives him an alternative.
