[May 16th] Through God’s promises, we partake in the divine nature, which requires forming habits that align with His provision. Claiming "I can’t afford it" denies His abundant grace. Such words reflect a lack of trust in the riches available in Christ. God, who controls all creation, blesses those who obey Him. Challenges in life should not lead to self-pity but to faith in His sufficiency. Self-pity dethrones God, silences His riches, and fosters bitterness. God calls us to trust fully, recognizing that all we need springs from Him.
