Someone sent a message to the neighborhood group chat looking for his owner but no one came forward. This woman has many years of experience rescuing over 50 cats so she understands the cat must have been abandoned. The cat was sweet. He showed the woman his belly. Even though they just met. There were lots of people around, she waited to see if anyone would take him but unfortunately no one did. So at the end the woman took the cat to the vet. It turns out that cat has heart problems and would need medication. That's probably why he was abandoned. Sometimes their owners abandon them not because they don't love them but because they don't have the money or time or resources to care for them.
