Description
✈️ From Chile to Uruguay | Solo Travel Vlog 🇨🇱➡️🇺🇾
This vlog starts at Santiago Airport, Chile. Today, I’m flying to Uruguay. I had originally planned to stay longer in Santiago, but honestly, the place didn’t feel right for me. The people didn’t seem very friendly, and even after staying for five days, I felt it was time to move on and continue my journey 🌍
I boarded my flight and landed in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay 🇺🇾. After arriving at the airport, I needed to exchange some money, but the rates didn’t look good, so I decided to skip it for the moment. I walked outside, where the bus station was right in front of the airport 🚏.
I waited for the bus, but when it arrived, I found out that they only accept cash, not cards 💳❌. Because of that, I had to miss the bus and go back inside the airport to exchange money.
After exchanging cash, I finally took the bus and reached my hostel 🏨. Since it was Sunday, most places were closed, so I decided to rest and take it easy for the day 😴
The next day, I headed out to explore the city center of Montevideo. I checked out food prices at a few restaurants and quickly realized that food is quite expensive here 🍽️💸. Taxis are costly too, and even hostels aren’t cheap, so overall, Uruguay felt like an expensive country to me.
I walked around the city, stopped for a coffee break ☕, and then visited Independence Square, surrounded by beautiful old and historic buildings 🏛️. After exploring the area, I walked towards the Atlantic Ocean 🌊, sat at the beach, and enjoyed a peaceful sunset 🌅
While heading back to my hostel, I noticed a local bar 🍺 and decided to step in. I tried a local beer, soaked in the vibes, and then finally returned to my hostel to end the day.
✨ Thanks for watching!
