Public Roads Closed For No Prep Street Racing - 2JZ Commodore VS Rockynats!

We look forward to Rockynats Every Year and this year we took Kevo to have a crack at the Street Drags! A closed public road, no-prep surface, heaps of tough cars and my 1000HP 2JZ powered VR Commodore trying to go rounds in the Pro Class which had a cut off of 6.50 seconds over the 1/8th mile. After going rounds against some insanely tuff cars we ended up in the final against our mate John in ProHR, a Turbo LS powered Holden HR Ute tuned by Jesse at Madoc Tuning. It was an insanely close race but John unfortunately red lit by .005 of a second handing me the win! Thanks to the Staff, Officials and Volunteers that put on an awesome weekend of racing and the whole event crew for hosting one of the best car shows in QLD. And to the Rockhampton locals and council for opening their arms up to host such a massive event.
