I did an impression of Shrek and Donkey. When he keeps telling Donkey he has layers, but Donkey doesn't understand, so he's trying to compare it with different things like parfaits or cakes, but Shrek means it in a more rotten way, like to get to him, you gotta go through all these layers to end him. Donkey thinks more on the positive side that he maybe is like different layers of cake. And who wouldn't like parfait?
