a buddy sent me this from a farm job and I kept replaying it. At first I thought he'd be chopping at that stalk for a while. Then one clean cut later and the whole thing gives way. The part that got me was how the leaves barely moved before it started leaning. You can almost hear the fibers tearing right before it lets go. I've seen plenty of heavy equipment work, but there's something satisfying about simple skill and timing getting the job done. No fancy machine, just knowing exactly where to make the cut.
