Homemade Groundnut Oil | Stop Buying Adulterated Oil! Pankaj Bhadouria Adulteration in oils is a common problem these a days. So to tackle that problem, here is how you can make pure, unadulterated groundnut oil aka peanut oil at home and that too without any machine or oil press! It is a simple technique that has been used for ages in our ancient kitchens. It may be a little time consuming, but the end result – pure groundnut oil, is always worth the effort. And nothing goes to waste in the making of homemade groundnut oil! With the peanut meal left in the end, you can make protein rich peanut laddus, burger patties or simple add it to your atta to make delicious parathas! Try out this simple technique of making peanut oil at home and get pure peanut oil! Recipe: Homemade groundnut oil Preparation time: 30 minutes Yield : 200-220 ml oil Ingredients: 500g raw groundnuts 5-6 tbsp hot water Method: Lightly roast the groundnuts over low- medium heat till the skin is lightly golden and starts to separate easily when pressed between fingers. Cool the groundnuts and remove the skin by rubbing between a cloth. Grind the groundnuts in a mixer jar on pulse mode, grinding for no more than 30 secs at one time. The groundnuts will turn into a meal and then on further grinding, turn into a glossy paste. Remove to a tray or flat pan. Knead into a smooth dough. Start adding hot water, one tablespoon at a time and keep pressing and you will see peanut oil starts to flow out. Strain the oil a glass bottle. Allow the oil to stand for 2-3 hours and strain through a muslin cloth to remove all sediments. Store in a cool dry place for up to 3 months. #groundnutoil #peanutoil #pankajbhadouria #pankajbhadouriarecipes #recipe #food #homemadegroundnutoil #kacchighanioil #coldpressedoil #oilseeds #nutoils #oil #masterchefindia #indianchefs Timeline: 0:00 Introduction 1:15 selecting the peanuts 1:55 Roasting peanuts 3:20 removing peanut skin 4:30 Grinding peanuts 5:55 extracting peanut oil 8:06 peanut laddus Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA34Z3lq8FozSQzDHsSLcmQ/join Thank you for watching! 💫 And don’t forget to subscribe here: https://goo.gl/mQwVjN ***************************************************************************** For more information on Pankaj Bhadouria, be sure to visit: https://www.pankajbhadouria.com Follow Pankaj Bhadouria on Your favourite Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/pbhadouria https://www.instagram.com/masterchefpankajbhadouria https://twitter.com/BhadouriaPankaj
