Description
Today we're going over how to assign and designate a Signing Representative, inside of your Transactions (zipForm Edition) account
We will start by opening our Transaction, and from the summary tab, we will click on the Parties tab
Select the party that will have a representative signing on its behalf
Right now, I have the name of the person signing in these fields, but this will need to change to accommodate the entity buyer
We will enter the full name of the entity, a Trust in this case, into the “First Name” field
We will then scroll down and use the Signing Representative Fields to identify the name and email of the individual representing the entity
The entity name entered in the first name line and the signing representative information will inform your documents and signing packets in different ways
The entity information is what will show up on the form itself
The signing rep will show up as the signature during a signing session.
We will click save to move on
Our Signing Representative has been saved
When we open the RPA, we can see the buyer is shown as the full name of the trust
You may have noticed that the full name of the trust is not showing up on this page of the contractOn page 15, paragraph 33 should be used to input the full and complete name of the trust, as well as the name of the legally authorized signer, and their title
Now when we start a new signature packet, we will begin by adding our participants
We will select Add From Transaction
As you can see, the name of the buyer now shows the full name of the Representative and not the entity Click select
Now we can see that our signing rep is shown and the RPA outlines their representative capacity
Our packet is now ready to be signed by the signing representative
