No upgrades in body style, engine, transmission. Still 1.5 liter turbo engine with CVT transmission. SEL trim level has been dropped. No more SEL trim level. So when it comes to trim levels now in Canada there will be ES, SE, NOIR and GT. I think it’s better this way, simple selection, easy to understand trim levels. I can tell from a retail sales perspective that these NOIR Editions have been a huge success on all models so I’m not surprised to see Mitsubishi is emphasizing more value on it. Also new to NOIR trim level is that Mitsubishi removed several features compared to last year to reduce the MSRP by $1,500. Pretty big reduction! Here is what’s deleted to achieve the price reduction: Panoramic sunroof Large rear spoiler Aluminum pedals Mitsubishi Power Sounds System with 8 speakers However, they added a Head up display. In addition to NOIR Edition changes, there are more colours now available on this trim level, totaling 4 colour options. Now you can get Red Diamond and White diamond on top of previous Grey and Black. When it comes to other spec changes: GT trim level’s embedded navigation is scrapped. So no more factory navigation - you have to use Apple Carplay or Android Auto. In its place Mitsubishi is introducing the remote starter with no increase of the MSRP of the top GT trim.
