Great white egrets, Transpantaneira, Pixaim River and Iguazu Falls, Brazil - 23rd August-3rd September 2024 The largest egret in the Pantanal. Often seen in groups and with other water birds, as can be seen from the large number of egrets, storks and herons in this video in the Pixaim River at SouthWild Pantanal Lodge. Also shows one of the egrets attempting to be the first bird to the fish thrown from our boat on the river. The final bird is in the river close to the Iguazu waterfall.
