The 2030 numbers are assuming each capital returns 5.6% pa which is the average annual increase over the last 30 years. That's according to the REINZ House Price Index (March 1996 - March 2026). This is more what WOULD happen if house prices kept rising as they have in the past. I'm not saying that this is what WILL happen Now not all cities grow at the same. Some will far outpace the average and some may fall short.This is a projection if property got the same return for the next 4 years. That won't happen exactly like this.
