Description
Astore Valley — the next big destination for tourism in Pakistan!
This stunning valley in Gilgit-Baltistan is the gateway to some of Pakistan’s most breathtaking locations including Deosai National Park, Skardu, Burzil Pass, Minimarg, Domel, Rainbow Lake, Kamri, and Shounter Pass leading towards Neelum Valley.
In today’s vlog, we travel from Gorikot, the largest and most populated area of Astore, all the way to Chilum Checkpost. Along the way, we explore scenic landscapes, traditional stone houses, golden autumn trees, peaceful grazing meadows, and the calm lifestyle of the local people.
The valley sits at an altitude of about 2,358 meters and is rich in agriculture, horticulture, and livestock farming. The Shina language is widely spoken here, and the people live a simple yet beautiful life surrounded by nature.
Even though the roads are rough, the journey is full of incredible mountain views, open fields, and rivers flowing beside the road — making it a paradise for adventure lovers and travel enthusiasts.
Stay tuned as we continue our journey tomorrow from Chilum to Burzil Pass, then Minimarg and Domel in the upcoming episodes.
