admit it - the girls ARE ugly. Support the channel by getting Hay Day on your iOS/Android device for free https://play.hayday.com/2Vk7/xgbdjsxb and remember to share what you’ll name your farm! I uploaded a video a week or so ago, where i shared tiktok videos other women had made, where they are CRYING because they feel so ugly. In my video I disputed the fact that they were ugly, as in my belief, every human has aspects of their appearance that can be considered beautiful. Well to my dissapointment, i got a LOT of pushback on that video. People commenting that we shouldn't be telling these women they're beautiful 'when they're not'. that some people are 'objectively ugly', and that i was essentially placating these women. I couldn't disagree more. I think we're doing an absolute disservice to these women by calling them ugly, when they are far from it. ok, admittedly, some of them do not fit our current day beauty standards - but this does NOT make them inherently ugly. it simply means that their looks arent currently trending. I think its incredibly important that we look to see the beauty in our differences, despite what the beauty standards tell us. And i say this as a woman who grew up feeling ugly af. and let me tell you - that is not a nice feeling to have. it was only through a lot of work that i stopped seeing myself and my features as 'ugly' (though some days i still wobble) and realised that parts of me are pretty, and parts maybe less so. but that doesnt make me ugly. the problem with seeing yourself as an 'ugly' person no matter what you do - is that you will stop trying to improve yourself or your life. you just give up on yourself, because whats the point? you'll be ugly anyway. so you stop nourishing yourself, stop moving your body with purpose, stop washing your hair, stop seeing value in yourself OR your appearance, and that absolutely impacts on your quality of life. So in conclusion, this was a long winded way of saying - STOP CALLING THESE WOMEN UGLY or affirming to them that they are ugly when they are not.
