SmudgeBob the tiniest special kitten gets her first vet exam!

(Audio gets better several minutes in) SmudgeBob was born April 10 with congenital special features. This is her first vet exam, with the fabulous Dr. F. We don't have a diagnosis yet, but are giving her intensive round-the-clock supportive care to give her every possible chance. Her vitals are good, and she's strong and active, despite having very slow growth. We're still out there trying to trap the remaining cats, so this colony can enjoy the long, happy, healthy, kitten-free lives they deserve! In the meantime, these extremely preggo catermelons will give birth for the last time and raise their final litters of kittens on our livestreams before they're all spayed/neutered too. 76% of our Hellga cats have type B blood, so please be aware that we will need to blood type kittens as they're born in order to prevent a fatal condition called Neonatal Isoerythrolysis. This can be stressful to watch, and is definitely not our favorite thing to do, but it is the only way we can ensure no kittens are lost to a condition we can prevent.
