While in La Jolla, California, we visited Sunny Jim’s Sea Cave and the sea lions at La Jolla Cove. Now we’re headed to one of the area’s most mysterious landmarks — the Abandoned Mushroom House. Its real name is the Bell Pavilion House, built in the late 1960s for Sam Bell of Bell’s Potato Chips as a futuristic guest house perched above Black’s Beach.
